It Always Seems Impossible Until It’s Done

“It always seems impossible until it’s done.”
— Nelson Mandela
Have you ever looked at a goal and thought:
“There is no way I can do this.”
Whether it’s changing careers, starting something new, making an important decision, or stepping outside your comfort zone, the distance between where you are and where you want to be can sometimes feel overwhelming.
What feels impossible is often simply something we haven’t done yet. Growth rarely feels comfortable. More often, it looks like uncertainty, self-doubt, and taking small steps without having every answer in advance.
Waiting until you feel completely ready may keep you waiting much longer than necessary.
Progress doesn’t come from certainty.
It comes from moving forward despite uncertainty.
This is one of the reasons coaching can be so powerful.
Sometimes what helps us move isn’t someone giving us the answers.
It’s having someone who listens, asks thoughtful questions, challenges limiting beliefs, and helps us stay connected to what truly matters.
With clarity comes confidence.
With consistent action comes momentum.
And with accountability, even the biggest goals become more manageable.
Over time, what once seemed impossible begins to feel achievable.
Then, one day, you realize that what once felt completely out of reach has become part of your reality.
You don’t have to see the entire path before taking the first step.
You only need the courage to take the next one.
You may be much closer than you think.
